Stopped here twice on our canal holiday, both times absolutely wonderful service, incredibly friendly and helpful, the food is fantastic. We had bacon baguettes and some of the cakes and all of it was delicious. Thank you for being a lovely stop on our journey.

Nice little cafe which is the perfect place for a pitstop when walking along the canal. We often stop with our toddler for a drink, ice cream and the use of the facilities. Has a few benches outside but it can get busy when the weather is really good (which is understandable), parking is a little limited if you choose to come via car. Staff are really friendly and have a lovely selection of drinks and cafes available! Toilets and indoor seating were all clean and tidy and well presented

Wanted to stop off here for a while and so glad we did! A great location next to the canal side, we really enjoyed sitting out in the sun, watching the boats work their way through the locks. The service was good, the food excellent, loved the king prawn salad, really fresh!

We only stopped for a tea and coffee. We seen the gorgeous cakes in the chiller, well what can I say. My husband had apple pie and I had the blacurrant and prosecco cheesecake. They were both really good. We had a little walk up and down the Loch. Lovely afternoon out.

First time visit to Lockside Cafe. Staff are lovely. Lovely building in a picturesque setting next to the Shropshire Union Canal and staircase locks. Our food was very tasty. Nice selection of meals/snacks available at reasonable prices. Seating outside which is ideal for watching the barges come and go. Also a garden and children’s play area at the rear. We walked along the canal path under the bridge and met a couple of interesting people magnet fishing in the canal. A lovely place to relax and enjoy the scenery.

Stopped off on the way up the locks and had a coffee and a slice of lemon meringue. Friendly staff and a really pleasent outside seating area. The lemon meringue was delicious. Great place to sit and watch the Narrowboats go by.
